My grandfather was a jokester and it always made me giggle as child when he'd say horse doovers instead of Hors d'oeuvres. My grandmother enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and I've recently started following in her footsteps when it comes to the kitchen.

When my husband came up with the idea of creating this page and the website for me, as soon as he said HorseDoovers.com, my eyes filled with tears and I smiled... I was immediately taken back to my childhood and with my grandparents.
