Baked Macaroni and Cheese (NO boil)

1.5 teaspoons
Velveeta Cheese
12 ounces
Whole Milk
6 cups
Salted Butter
6 tablespoons
Shredded Cheddar Or Cheddar Blend
3 cups
Elbow Noodles
16 ounces


-Preheat oven to 350
-spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray
-cut Velveeta cheese into 1/2" cubes
-Mix the milk and salt together in the baking dish
-Pour the uncooked elbow noodles into the milk in the baking dish and stir to help distribute the noodles
-add the Velveeta cheese and 2 cups of the shredded cheese, stir to distribute
-slice the butter into 6 pieces (tablespoons) and push down into the milk evenly across the baking dish
-Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes
-Uncover, stir well, recover and bake an additional 15 minutes (or until noodles are tender and liquid is mostly absorbed- it will be creamy!)
- Top with 1 cup of shredded cheese and bake uncovered until the cheese melts, about 5-10 minutes.
